How DryJect Works
21 Century Aeration™ Service
The DryJect® service uses the only machine in the world that aerates,
topdresses and amends in one pass on greens, tees, fairways and sports
fields. You're immediately back in play. There's nothing else like it
As Seen in the above depiction: high-pressure water fractures the root zone while using patented vacuum
technology to simultaneously fill with a sand or a soil amendment, such as
Profile™ Field & Fairway™ or
Greens Grade™.
As you can see in the above photo that sand is placed inside the hopper and as the machine injects the water to create the aeration hole, the hole is filled up with the sand.
How Much Volume do you want to Inject into your Soil Profile?
The spacing can be set at different settings to allow you to put as much or little in volume per 1000 square feet. The example below is for pure dry sand. If you utilize a soil amendment, the volume will be the same, the weight will be different due to the density of the material.
3 x 2 inches 6 to 6.5 cf of sand / 1000 sq ft 650 lbs
3 x 3 inches 4 to 4.5 cf of sand / 1000 sq ft 450 lbs
3 x 4 inches 3 to 3.5 cf of sand / 1000 sq ft 350 lbs
The ultimate goal is to determine cultivation treatments that are
sufficient to adequately reduce thatch/mat percentage of organic matter, while also disrupting
putting surface quality for the least amount of time. You can achieve the same results of core removal without the added downtime on the greens by dilution of the greens with more sand or soil amendments. Utilization of DryJect allows you to have no downtime on the greens while accomplishing the same as core removal.
